Boho Chic

So you know when you are walking in the mall and you ask yourself…  am I too old to shop at (insert store here)?  This happened to me about a few weeks ago.  I walked by Abercrombie & Fitch and had that exact feeling.  Not sure why, but at that point I felt like I “aged” out of the store.  Over the last couple of years, I would walk by A&F and think “why is the music so loud,” or “why do the sales people stand outside the store in their swim suits or have no shirts on?”  Maybe it was because I was a fairly new mommy and just tired or maybe I was feeling old because I was approaching my late 30’s?  Who knows!  But a few weeks ago, I didn’t just walk by… I stopped and actually went in.  I was by myself, so I could try some clothes on in the store!  Imagine that… without the kiddies tugging at me and asking me when are we going home.  haha  But anyhow, I walked in and my eyes lit up.  There were so many great dresses, cardigans, and sweaters that were my style.  I used to shop at A&F all the time, but transitioned to Banana Republic and J.Crew.  I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised and picked up some great pieces, which I will show over the next couple of weeks as I integrate them into my fall looks.  So moral of the story…  go check out Abercrombie & Fitch if you haven’t lately.

One of my favorite articles of clothing, hands down, are dresses.  They are comfortable and can really be worn throughout the entire year (of course depending on colors and fabric;).  This dress that I found at A&F is so cute!  It has thin straps and lace detail at the top that gives the dress a cami feel.  It comes in three colors and can transition easily into fall!

Since cooler temperatures are around the corner, a cardi would be perfect for this dress.  The cardigan I am wearing is also from A&F and is so cozy and comfortable.  It has deep pockets and an open front…  no buttons or zippers on this one, which personally, I prefer.  The cardigan has a textured design and the fabric is soft, not scratchy like some wool cardigans.  The other great feature is that it curves to your body and it is not very boxy.  This is important because I am on the shorter side and boxy cardigans do not complement my body type.  Run, don’t walk to pick up this cardigan!  Oh, by the way, it comes in five colors 😉

The booties are Vince Camuto, but unfortunately are not available in this exact style.  As always, don’t worry!  I linked an equally adorable pair.

Thanks for stopping by and please come back soon!
