Styling a Sweatshirt for the Classroom

You can be comfortable in the classroom without sacrificing style.  I love taking comfy pieces like sweatshirts and t-shirts and styling them in such a way that adds a bit of professionalism.  Workwear for a teacher differs from that of many industries.  We have the ability to dress more casually, but it’s important to remain professional.  Here are three easy ways to style a sweatshirt to make it classroom appropriate.

Option #1:  Style with a Pleated Skirt

Sweatshirt: Exact one

Pleated Skirt:  Exact one

Camel Coatigan:  Exact one (one of my favorite purchases!)

Option #2: Style with Wide-Leg Pants (Ultra Comfy!)

Affordable Wide Leg Pants:  Option 1 / Option 2

Loafers: Exact Pair

Option #3:  Style with Joggers and Pumps

This Anine Bing sweatshirt is currently my FAVORITE!  It’s definitely a bit of a splurge, but versatile.  Here is the same sweatshirt styled for a night out and for running around with the kiddies on the weekends.
